“Growing up can be hard without having the advantage of confidence, self-awareness, and social savvy.  Manners teach children and young adults the social and communication skills they need to succeed.” This is a personal mantra of Jessica LoRusso, Director and President of In Good Company Etiquette Academy & Finishing School – Manitoba. In June 2019, Jessica purchased the license to offer Courtesy Coach Train the Trainer Certification programs throughout Manitoba as an affiliate of Civility Experts Worldwide.

Jessica and her team at the Winnipeg office will be offering a variety of social skills programs, classes, etiquette parties and private coaching for children and youth ages 5 – 20 years of age. She is also available for private coaching sessions for adults and families.

Coming from an entrepreneurial background of over 20 years, Jessica recognizes and values the power good etiquette, proper manners and the ability to traverse the corporate environment with social competency attributed to her success.  The need for respect, kindness and social skills which contribute to self-esteem, confidence and healthy relationships personally and professionally has been instrumental in success of her businesses, employees and the experience of customers. She often says, “When in doubt, be considerate and professional.”

Jessica holds professional “journeyman” designations in hairstyling, esthetics and makeup artistry.  In 2018, she became the 12th Master Certified Civility Trainer (MCCT)© worldwide.  Jessica is also certified to deliver Civility Training Credibility and Confidence Training, and Golden Rule Civility Youth Training with the International Civility Consortium Trainers.  Jessica has launched her second book “Be Believable”. ​ In addition, Jessica has volunteered her time as the President with the ALS society; Finalist for Manitoba Women Entrepreneur of the Year Award (Building Business and Excellence in Service Categories) for three consecutive years and Winner of Rookie of the Year, Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce.

Jessica LoRusso is also a member of Civility Speakers’ Bureau where you can find professional speakers, keynote presenters, workshop facilitators and workplace trainers who specialize in civility and related topics and content.

Train the Trainer Certification

This program was created by Civility Experts Worldwide and it is a validated industry credential program supported by the International Civility Trainer’s Consortium.

This training program will provide teachers, parents, caregivers, and other children’s programs training professionals with all the tools they need to successfully deliver character, confidence and courtesy lessons and workshops to children ages 4-12 years. The Courtesy Coach® program is mandatory for all licensees and/or franchisees and sub-franchisees in the In Good Company Etiquette Academy Group.

After completing either the distance or the live trainer sessions program participants will be granted a “Certificate of Achievement” to recognize completion of the coursework for the Courtesy Coach® designation. They will then be eligible to write the International Civility Trainers’ Consortium certification exam to be recognized as a Certified Children’s Character, Confidence and Courtesy Coach®. Our Coco Chanel inspired space (Black and White with Pink and Sparkle) is just large enough to accommodate up to 10 party guests including the guest of honor, plus a maximum of two adults to celebrate in style!

Once you’ve booked your party, we take care of everything else! Your party is “planned” to follow an “Afternoon in Paris” agenda which includes:

• A party host – to direct your guests through the activities, give etiquette tips, and help make the party perfect.
• Crowning of the birthday girl (take home your tierra) with a special toast to celebrate her special day.
• Next – off to put on your pearls, boas, and gloves, and pose for a few photos in front of the Eiffel Tower with your family and friends.
• Then, it’s time for a trip to “Le Petit Gateau” where you will enjoy some beautiful sweet treats and a theme inspired cake while you gaze at the Eiffel tower – ahhh Paris!
• And what party would be complete without presents? Don’t forget to take the French Pastry Chef Treat for you and your friends to take home.
